We are reaching out for your help. Some of you may know Heidi and some of you may find yourself on this page after talking to our team or following a link from Facebook, how you come to this page doesn’t matter, what matters is what you do next.

Heidi is Sedero Lounge’s focus for Loungeaid this year and in addition to raising money for Pancreatic Cancer Action we will also be raising money to send Heidi and her children and grandchildren to Disneyland Paris as she has always wanted take them there. Heidi’s Grandson is obsessed with Woody and Buzz and her wish is to take them to Disneyland.

“I want to see my Grandson’s face when he sees Woody and Buzz walk past”

Heidi is one of one first employees I hired before we had even opened Sedero Lounge in 2017, back when interviews were held wherever sold good coffee in Reading and Wokingham and she is one of the most amazing women you will ever meet.

Heidi has been unwell for the past year but continued to smash it on shift whilst trying to find out why she felt so ill. Over the past year she has had multiple appointments and tests with no answers.

A few weeks ago Heidi felt even worse than usual and ended up being taken to A&E by ambulance, the result of this was more tests and then at the end of January Heidi was told after a final investigation of a ct scan that she has stage 3/4 pancreatic cancer and that it’s now too late for surgery, therefore making the cancer terminal.

Heidi is 48 years old, so extremely young to have this diagnosis and feels that this could be why pancreatic cancer was probably overlooked as an option of a diagnosis. An earlier diagnosis could have meant a very different outcome!
